Genting Movie Marathon...
last saturday,CJ invited us to just chill out at Genting...we chckd into an apartment and pretty much ber'hibernasi' di sana....hahah....eat,watch movies & sleep was all we did...
These were the movies tht we watched during the 'hibernation' period:
1.Garden State
- the 1st movie on our 'genting movie-list' ...just love Zach Braff (fr Scrubs) and tht movie was his directorial debut..great indie stuff..cute...
2. In Good Company
- since ive watch this b4..i actually have time to move abt (getting ready for the next movie.)... another cutie..Topher Grace (fr That 70's Show) ...its a comedy...Dennis Quaid having a boss who's young enuff to be his kid...how things could get all wrong... + if the boss's dating the daughter (Scarlett Johansson..she has the lucious lips to die for...)
3. The Notebook
- i've been warned by a fren tht this movie is a real tear-jerker...so ive prepared myself for it...hmmm...Ad...ko mmg undeniably 'jiwang' i must say...heheh..xpe...wat can i say...its truly a love story..by the time we reached the ending..it was...no time for tissues...capai selimut jer..but believe me...it was still ctrllable...hehehe....
4. Ella Enchanted
- it was nearly 2am wen we decided to continue the movie marathon...by tht time CJ dh mmg flat..leaving me with Mek Ling...I admit...adelaa terlelap here n there...it was definitely a wrong choice movie to watch at tht time...sedar2 dah HAPPILY EVER AFTER...oh well..fairy tales...
the movie marathon continued the next morning...i kinda woke up early after dgr CJ 'banging' in the kitchen...we had spaghetti leftovers fr y'day for breakkie....'nuke' je dlm microwave n voila...good as new....we were'nt actually 'kebulur' despite not going out of the apartment....lets see...there was drummet,bread,garlic bread,baked beans,canned mushroom soup...all courtesy of CJ...i even made grilled cheese for everyone...eh...myself...hehehe...
b4 waiting for Mann to join us (had to balik Ipoh last minit)...we started of with CSI...season brapa ntah...and then Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban...i finally understood the opening theme of CSI...sbb ape??dvd copy have the subtitled lyrics...n it actually sings out...
"whoooooooo are u...hu-hu-hu-hu"
selama nih igt die bebel huhuhuhu je....so now i know....
5. Coach Carter
- I heard the OST which was cool..all hip-hop rap stuffs..so i had to watch the movie n see wat the fuss was all abt... thought it was just another movie abt a bunch of skool kids playing basketball mixed with all the ghettohood life...it was actually a true story...which was very much inspiring...the game itself was cool...terigt zaman2 kt skolah n kolej...Mek Ling sukalaa tu....reminiscing those times...
6. The Grudge
- this shld've been the movie to watch at nite...tp since Mann couldn't joind us the nite b4 (dvd was with her)..we only got to see it masa siang...although we've seen the original version Ju-On 1,Prequel,Sequel...still terkejut beruk jugak...as for me...i enjoy watching my frens watching it...we had this saying b4 kalo tgk cete thriller/hantu...
"see no evil,hear no evil n speak no evil"
Man with her eyes closed,Mek Ling with her ears n Suyat will close her mouth...n me??
i ended up being the story tellerlaaa....hahahaha
7. Hide n Seek
- i watchd the day b4 at GSC Berjaya Times with my parents along with my bro n ah-sou...(believe it..) so not much of a shocker...De Niro in tht kinda role...didn't like it...it was not like an M Night Shyamalan movie but it was slightly more like..errr...Stephen King??ntahlaa...reminded me of Secret Window with Johnny Depp init...

8. Alfie
- awww....Jude Law...ain't he sexy or wat...+ the accent ...hohoho just superb...i don't care wat Chris Rocks said in the oscar's opening monologue..he's just suave...movie-wise...hmm...alfie was a-ok...but definitely not the best...but still its JUDE LAW!!
well....that was pretty much the journal of the movie marathon in genting....we got down to Kl at abt 9pm n that was tht....phewww....
